Contribution division between employer and employee
You pay a contribution for your pension. In our pension scheme, this contribution is 3% of your salary above the threshold amount of € 17,887. Unilever Netherlands pays the remainder of the determined contribution, which is 33% above the threshold amount. The contribution that is paid by yourself, is deducted from your monthly salary by your employer. You can see this on your salary slip. How are contributions actually paid? Every year, Unilever pays the total pension contribution for that year to Forward. Every month, the employer deducts your part of the pension contribution from your gross salary; the exact amount is stated on your payslip. The contribution is therefore the price of your pension. The contribution paid by the employer is not stated on your pay slip, but you can find it on your annual pension summary (UPO). |
